The Koch "Snowflake" Curve

This well-known and beautiful fractal curve is constructed by starting with a single large triangle. Each straight edge is then divided into three, with a new triangle being added to the centre third. The process is then repeated ad infinitum

You are encouraged to view this process by using the zoom function of the SVG viewer. Zooming: Hold the control key and click to zoom in at the mouse pointer location.
